Could You Escape?

March 27, 2016

Time is against you and your only methods of surviving are your instincts and undaunted mentality. Dark hallways, obscure details, and insufficient preparation all lead to one place, The Escape Room in Southlake, TX. This Escape Room will challenge your mind to think creatively and maybe in unconventional ways.

I have always been a fan of anything to do with puzzling games or mystery type situations. If you happen to be like this as well, I would highly recommend taking a drive up there. This particular escape room has four different “episodes” available to all willing game players: prison break, entrapment, confinement, and taken. Each episode has its own theme and back story. However, all of the episodes are connected, but you have to complete all rooms in order to figure out how and why. This only adds to the mystery and furthers excitement among all who play. In addition, this is also what separates this escape room from any others.

Upon entering a room you are given no help or clues. You will only get what is inside, but an employee will be watching your every move and they will point you in the right direction if needed. You are also only given one hour to solve the riddles and gather the right codes before the game comes to an end. Trust me, that hour tends to disappear fast. Therefore, you should work efficiently and if you think you have a lead then just run with it. This escape room opens its doors to anyone, although it is recommended that one room, confinement, be completed by adults due to mature content. Other than that, seven to eight players are able to play one room at once. You don’t have to have a full party because they can place a couple of people in a room with your party if it comes down to it.

The Escape Room in Southlake is not the only escape room in the Metroplex, but it is a unique and is a thrilling experience. There is not much I can reveal to you about the rooms themselves nor can I share my experience in vivid detail, for the sake of keeping the secrets and mystery alive. However, with your interest and sleuthing skills you will be ready for whatever lies behind the door. Goodluck and your time starts now!
