Halloween might be considered the most American thing to do (including Thanksgiving and Sunday football) but not for all families. Due to personal preferences or family traditions they find it better not to celebrate.

“Growing up I thought Halloween was just a fun thing kids did to get candy,” Junior, Kaitlynn Noguera said.

The Noguera family celebrate typical things in their lives but due to a religious background they choose not to celebrate Halloween.

“My family would usually stay inside and not really pass out any candy so I didn’t feel like I missed out too much,” Senior, Junior Noguera said.

Most people would be appalled by their lack of Halloween spirit, but the two siblings are not to ashamed.

“Even though we didn’t have any personal Halloween experiences, we still learned about it from movies TV and movies,” Junior said.

As individuals and in their own lives, the siblings still would consider indulging in the spirit of Halloween.

“When I grow up I will most definitely celebrate Halloween,” Kaitlynn said.
