PTSA Hosts College Workshop

PTSA+Hosts+College+Workshop

The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) will host a workshop for parents and students planning on attending a four-year college or university on Monday at 7 p.m. in the library.

The PTSA said parents of freshman, sophomore and junior students will most likely benefit from the workshop.

Families would learn about financial aid from Director of Planning at Insight College and Financial Solutions Douglas Bryan. The workshop will teach parents and students ways to beat the high cost of college and other helpful information regarding financial aid.

Bryan has worked with the PTSA for 11 years, excluding his short break during COVID-19. He shares up-to-date inside information on the issue of college planning with families. It has been said that the workshop will help you safeguard your child’s future.

The workshop will last for an hour and a half, giving real-world advice about FAFSA and financial aid for students, even some with six-figure homes.
